Soft dry cat food?

Can anyone recommend a dry cat food that won't go off sat in the bowl for a few days but is soft not crunchy?

Umm. Having seen cats with penile blockage due to dry food feeding, I'm afraid I won't feed it. I know it is rare, I know my cat is very unlikely to suffer from it, but......

I never feed it alone, it's in a bowl in case they run out of wet stuff. I've mender had a cat that didn't prefer wet.

never fed it myself but seen ads for freeze dried raw. I'd presume that would be softer than the biscuits/kibble.

Sadly I’m not sure it exists / I’ve never heard of or seen it.

If you weren’t needing to leave it out for a few days I’d suggest soaking dry in hot water but you’d probably need to change the food at least once a day or it’ll go all crispy and horrible.

Maybe a too late reply to be of any help, but the dry food which I've came across that seemed to be the least crunchy, even though it still definitely is crunchy, is probably Royal Canin Veterinary Renal Select.

Madam Carrie Cat reviewed the options of all cat foods available in the UK and finally selected Purina Bifensis Adult Bifensis.
It's kept her sharp teeth clean, long thick coat shiny, her belly full for >10hrs and her faeces solid. And no - I don't work for them in any capacity!
Added to say that it's not that soft. Worth a try?

I agree with this. I bought it for my now deceased cat who did have kidney disease, then I bought it again recently for a cat who i thought might be developing kidney disease but thankfully this was ruled out following a blood test.

I had bought a big bag and thought it would go to waste but on googling it seems to be ok for healthy cats to eat. Both of my older cats like it.
