Soft hooves

My farrier mentioned that my mare has soft hooves. So left me with some potion to put on which i have been but they're still a bit soft and sometimes she gets gravel stuck in them. She never goes lame on them though. Shes going to be driving more on the roads etc so just wondering what you would recommend?

Shes fed a handful of dengie hi-fi and a small handful of just a high protein mix.

Dietary changes have helped my mare. I have stripped any sugars out of her feed and started giving her micronised linseed. I also used euchalyptus oil on her soles to help harden them up.

Others have used Pro-Hoof to help and have had good results.

Rockley Farm I believe are worth investigating for the work that they do with barefoot issues.
