soft shell show jackets

I am a bit out the loop with show jackets and brands, but am in the market for a new show jacket. Ideally I would like it to be waterproof. Are all soft shell show jackets waterproof? (or showerproof)? Or are some just stretchy/breathable and not water resistant?

Any suggestions of brands to look at would also be welcome. I'm tall, have long arms and reasonably broad shoulders for my size, and would prefer something of a reasonable length. No bling! Budget is flexible, but no animo prices! Cheaper the better really.

Spooks do a really good range! I personally don't think they fit as nice as animo, but are a lot cheaper!

They are pretty true to size and the sleeves are nice and long! Haven't tested out how waterproof it is yet, but it does feel like it should be pretty good.
