I recently bought a fab new berney bros saddle which I love, but my leathers are starting to leave a mark on the saddle so I'm looking to buy a pair of soft leathers that won't be as harsh on it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have been looking at schockemohle Colorado leathers if anyone has any experience of them?

I don't have the hugest budget so I'm looking for affordable ones!

Thanks

I bought some albion leathers a few years back now, they were soft then and with care over the years, are in just as good nick now, rubbed a wee bit on saddle but nothing like some leathers do!

I love my Passier ones. The holes are closer together as well which means that it it a lot easier to get a good riding length.

Celtic Equine do a pair called Softee Leathers (or something like that!). Its soft leather with a nylon core - they are about €42 I think :)

I'm going to get a pair as my synthetic leathers are marking my saddle....but I hate the way leather stretches...so these are a good compromise!

Thank everyone, I was originally going to buy the Celtic equine ones but they don't make them long enough for me😕

Going to have a look for the others and see how I go!
