My new baby has the softest squidgiest mouth of any horse I've ever ridden (Usually I ride really bolshy horses ). I don't want this to change and obviously I'm going to try to be very soft with my hands. My bit of choice is a french link loose ring snaffle with a chunky mouth piece... and have had very happy results with this bit in my bolshy ponies but what is the softest bit anyone can think of... (Not keen on rubber straight bars as I think they give little 'feel')

A nathe snaffle? Sort of straight bar but with tongue-room and a soft rubbery white material. Very chewy though!

Ahh I'm going to watch this with interest, Charlie has the softest of mouths to!! At the moment have him in a french link hanging cheek (he came with a dutch gag!!) but would be interested to know if anyone had any other suggestions!! :)
