Soggy Snuggy Hood!

Leave it on to dry. It doesn't get really sodden though. At night I'd take it off & leave it to dry. They recommend putting it on slightly damp after washing anyway.

You must have been reading my thoughts and was pondering this all of yesterday....
Is the Snuggy Hood the very thin lycra one that isnt waterproof? I put mine on my grey to keep her clean but thought that when they got wet (as in constantly wet by rain) they would be very uncomfortable and actually make the horse colder by flattening the hair and retaining moisture? I am guessing I am comparing it to how a wet t-shirt would be on us?? It would be great if others are of the opinion that snuggy hoods are made for wet weather and they can turn out in the rain because then I would have a clean(er!) horse

You could get some wash in proofer for it?

The Snuggy Hoods folk told me I could add Nikwax proofer to the washing machine as a rinse, to make it water repellent.
