ashleigh had a letter come through today and has just opened it to find a 6th place rosette! she is currently killing herself laughing that she even got placed as she had the worst dressage score in the section ,got 4 faults showjumping and clear xc. we didnt even think about waiting for the results so it was quite a surprise to get that! just out of interest how do they work out the scores as places went down to tenth and as i said her dressage was the worst in section by a long shot!

We came 5th on a dressage score of 42.5 as Jack went wrong twice and the judge got out of her car to tell him, we had clear sj and xc. There were quite a few stops and eliminations xc I think.

Blimey, pity about my stop in the water then as we were on 37 dressage and clear SJ. Still, that's the nature of the game I suppose. Who put that blinking log in the water anyway??!! I think there were a lot of stops and eliminations. That carrot fence got a few.

Have to admit my old little 13hh pony wasn't to sure about the log to start with but after he done it once he did it many times and wasn't scared any more... =]
