I don’t have electricity at my field/ yard so I’m looking at options to power the borehole, run a kettle and lights. I currently have a small petrol generator for the borehole but it’s a pain to use.
I wondered if anyone had any experience of using a solar battery generator? I’ve seen one on LitemyRide which looks good. Apparently it can power tools too!
Thanks 😊

I've got one for sale if your looking. Its an ecoflow river. Not sure it would run a kettle though as its only a little one. But I'd only want £120, they are about £200 new.

If the kettle is essential I'd still go with ecoflow. And I'd expect to take it home every day or so in winter to charge as the solar is next to useless this time of year. The ecoflow ones charge in 40mins from a normal house plug or about 80mins from a car.

Actually if you are wanting to run the kettle and tools, I've just remembered Bluetti have a very good deal on on Amazon, think its about £500, so thats another option. Much bigger and heavier to carry round. My little ecoflow weighs about a 1kg, the bigger ones are more like 10/15kgs and fairly big. Depends what is important to you though :)

We used to have a kettle that plugged into the cigarette lighter in the car (yes it's so long ago). It worked very well and didn't take long to boil. It only held about 2 mugsful of water though.
