On a livery yard so can’t use their electric, but yard owner is happy for us to use solar panels to power things (already have video cameras that work this way).
Need a better way to dry rugs and hoping someone here has figured out how to do it with solar power. Only solutions I can find on Google are mains electric only…..

You would need a pretty big set up. They look to run at about 1600 watts for 5 hours. So youd need a 2000 watt inverter, and then a huge battery, and a few decent solar panels. With the provisio that solar wont charge the batteries in the winter if its dark and overcast.

Solar is good for running low watt stuff. You could probably do it with a batter bank, inverter and a generator to charge the batteries, but with the cost of fuel that could be expensive, although I have no idea about generators.

It's not a practical solution. Collect solar directly by hanging your rug out in the sun and air. Alternatively let your horse dry it on its back; it's a horse.
