I sold a mare a couple of years ago who was a bit of a project (scared of her own shadow when I got her and after 6 months turned into a trusting and lovely mare)

I sold her to someone who promised a forever home - I then found out they had sold her on after a few months and didn't know where as she had reverted to her previous spooky self and tehy found her too much.

I keep looking for her and have found her tonight and she is doing really well.

I am sooooooooo relieved!!!!!!!

Ahh that's really nice.

I put an advert in Your Horse way back in 1997 with a photo of Biggles, my first horse as I was keen to trace his history as I only knew he was a Grade B with 1.40m history as I had his 'card' given me by the dealer. I was lucky enough to find the groom of the girl who used to compete him BSJA and found out loads of history about him from when he used to jump speed derby's abroad and all his winnings, and also a bit of history on his day to day life. Charlotte lived down in Surrey and came up with her fiance (now her hubby) and had a sit on him, we went for a little hack down the lane. I corresponded with her for a year or so until I sadly lost Biggles as a result of an accident on a fun (not so much fun) ride. She was devastated that she'd found him and then lost him a second time.

It was great to find out so much about him. I'm glad your previous horse is doing so well and you can catch up with her new owner xx
 
I've googled her nearly every week - her bloodlines, passport number etc and found a mare that fit, bloodlines etc - I emailed them and it's her.

I'm so very relieved, she is the only horse I have ever regretted selling
 
It must be a lucky week, I got an email from someone saying they might know of my old horse! emailed them back and have now seen pictures, hoping I can also go and visit him, can see he is happy and loved, looks no older than the day i got him, even at 21years old! :)
