Managed to sell Meggy Moo for over what I was asking as I had two families interested
smile.gif
she's gone to a lovely family from the lake district i think they said - they paid, loaded her and went.
I think I might miss my wee Moo! Or maybe not!

Of cours I sold her to the highest bidder - the more money they have the more likely they are to have money for vets bills, feed. shoes etc. Plus if the two families were the same - who wouldnt???
Actually Im going there on the weeekend to see how she has settled in - so you can stop the insinuations right now!!

What a load of bullshit, money does not buy experience.

Personally, I would have sold her on the basis of how she was going to be looked after, not money. I don't have a lot of money but I certainly know how to look after a horse a lot better than some I know who earn a shedload. But, going on your past posts about the subject, you just wanted rid anyway. Did you tell them she'd failed the vetting and couldn't be jumped?

The Lake District is a bit of a long way from Cornwall isn't it. Because, I'm assuming that's where you live as you posted about moving your horses to Duchy College. Who in there right mind would drive all the way from the Lakes to view a 'happy hacker' that has failed the vet.

Oh ffs, can we stop this bitchiness and sniping now?

She has sold her horse, there is no reason to think she has gone to a bad home whatsoever.

Sounds like people are just spoiling for trouble, and it makes for unpleasant reading

I agreed with you up to there. The rest of your comments are speculative and unfair.

I'm not being 'bitchy', just stating the obvious

No you aren't.

You are questioning her motives and the truth of what she is saying without any reason. You are casting aspersions on her as an owner, and insinuating she is a troll. You made four separate posts for the purpose of making incredulous comments.

Dress it up how you like, you're being bitchy and snide.

She sold her horse, its good news, end of. There is no need or reason to grill her beyond that.

Do you know how many hours it takes to get from the Lakes to Cornwall?? Mmmm, try 8, on a good day and more like 10 if you get stuck on the M6. And you wonder why I'm doubting??

I have NO idea

You could well be right BUT you could've phrased your doubts a bit more carefully, and the bridge comment was totally unnecessary.
You run the risk of making the same faux pas someone else did quite recently on the forum...

No, I really meant that they are great. I love painting myself but I'm nowhere as good as you. I have reasons that I would rather not put on here as to why I don't believe the OP

Oh sorry, didn't see the bit about the drawings!

Thank you

Shame you can't tell us your reasons for doubting the OP. She has caused a bit of a broohaha quite recently herself and I though you might to want to give her a taste of her own medicine

How many people go and view a home they're selling their horse to?

No one that I know.

Yes, if you're loaning - not if your selling. Once it belongs to the OP it's none of your business is it?

I've been to visit most of the horses I've sold just because they've gone to friendly people who said I was welcome, not because I was looking at their facilities and deciding whether they were good enough.
