and tomorrow he goes to his new home
I know its for the right reasons but I'm still heartbroken. I've had him for over 3 years and we've been through a lot together. My job isn't reliable enough and secure enough at the minute and I was struggling on my hours (last week I earned 12 pounds!) so no way could I support myself, nevermind my TB. I've basically lost my job.
He's going to a good home where he will have a purpose in life now and I've had quite a lot of stick about it but I'm being realistic and I think I'm doing the right thing. I can now learn to drive, spend a little time on myself and my neglected OH and then get a new horse when I get a better job and I'm sorted in a few months time.
Just one question though; I don't want to be out of riding forever and want to have some lessons with a good instructor and some good horses so has anyone got any ideas where I can go in Leics/Notts.
