You might remember Izzy - grey AngloArab went to Binkybex's to be schooled . . . ?

She came home four weeks ago and I put her up for sale last weekend. I had a two calls on Thursday with both coming to see her on Friday. . . . first one to come bought her!!! I am SO pleased (can you guess?) Then, when I got home on Friday there were two more calls on my home phone . . . .
We deliver her next Saturday . . . . nice lady who lives in the Ashdown Forest (if anyone lives that way, look out for her)

awww well done. My mare went to her new home today.... feeling pretty sorry for myself right now, but it was the right thing to do as I don't have time for her and she's been out of work for months.

It's hard when they go though.

Oh, it won't be hard. I can't wait for her to go! I've had her exactly two years and we have never ever bonded in any way, she just blanks me completely. The only time she acknowledges my existence is if I have a bucket of food and then she's only interested for as long as it takes to get her head in it! That's the reason I'm selling her . . . . but, to be fair, she DID produce me a stunning filly.

oh right! I only had my mare a year - I bought her to hack whilst my yearling was young. He's the first youngster I've had and I just didn't realise just how busy I would be with him even now, as he's rising 3. Then she had some problems in the summer and I just haven't had time to bring her back into work. She loves being ridden and is going somewhere where she'll have a nice hacking home.

Well done, it's always a relief isn't it?!

It must be the weekend for it; I sold Joey (my avatar) yesterday too! Best of all, he stays here at livery for a while! That's what I call having my cake and eating it!
