I've just sold my Wintec saddle, which I bought in April last year when I bought Ronnie. I can't believe how much it's upset me. I love that saddle, and I know it's going to a lovely lady and I'm sure she'll enjoy it too, but I'm just so sad to see it go

I was so looking forward to buying my first new saddle when I bought Ronnie (all other horses/ponies came with saddles), and he's outgrown it in such a short time. I know I'm getting another, probably even better saddle, but it's not THAT one, my first one if you know what I mean

I've got all emotional over a silly saddle. Knock some sense into me please.

I dont think your daft!!! i think its normal!! or im daft too not sure.....
I have my Tb'S saddle in the garage i keep cleaning it itonly had a few months use and then i had to retire her so its still new, that was 5 years ago, i still clean it etc but havent had the heart to sell it, think it would upset me to much.. so im way to emotional about a saddle....

Arhh, I'm sentimental too! I've still got my first horse's saddle! It's very old and no good to anyone apart from lunging but I couldnt sell it!

Yep....will confess when I sold my old mares saddle, which was a Frank Baines Eclispe, hardly used.....felt a real twinge of the heart strings, did not know where it went as my saddle fitter sold it on for me.....still have my old mares Wintec 2000 saddle here, which must be sold

Hey Becky

Don't be sad!!! It is going to a lovely home and will be very carefully looked after. I will keep you up to date with its progress and regular photos!

I'm sure that my mare, Abi, will enjoy it as much as Ronnie did.

And I am very excited about getting my new saddle tomorrow

ive still got my first horse's in-hand youngstock class bridle, and 2 of his milk teeth (he's 21 in april!)

Hehe I'm glad it's going to such a good home, I'm just sorry to see it go.

I expect regular photos and progress updates
