Right, I can't compete on Sat 17th but can do Sun 18th. We are on the hinge between Intro and PN, will have done Smiths Lawn, our second PN ten days before. Do I do Burnham Beeches PN as its nearby (have schooled the Intro already although obviously not quite the same) or do I do the Intro at Solihull? Solihull is further but I suspect might be better (anyone?) and perhaps dropping back to Intro for confidence is no bad thing?
So my real question is, would the PN at BB be suitable for someone just moved up? And, if you had the choice of Solihull or BB, which would you go for?

Solihull have just held rc qualifier around the course and hardly anyone completed in inter. and open because of cricket stump. If that is in beware [our horse has qual nationals and didn't like it because it was very narrow].Ditches deep but if your horse likes them it will be ok

is that the equivalent to intro at solihull?

i'm entered for that

I've not heard great things about Solihull, which is disappointing as its only about an hour for me. Apparently they do very little to the ground if its hard and the SJ is always well up to height, one year competitors refused to jump the sj as the 1st fence was so big, steward eventually put it down tho!!! I suppose if you want a testing intro then it would probably be a good outing, no idea what BB is like but looking forward to reading comments!!

The novice RC jumped the intro ,which didn't cause too many problems as long as you didn't mind a big deep ditch then a large log on an angle. The inter. jumped the prenovice which had experienced horses in and caused loads of problems and the open jumped the novice BE and that caused loads of problems.
As it was such a disaster they may well change it because no teams got around in open and only one team in intro.
Think that says it all.

What I saw of BB last year it was ok, the SJ is on a surface which is nice especially with ground either being too wet or rock hard.

I did solihull intro last year, my first affiliated, it jumped fine, it was my horses first affiliated to, the showjumping was fine, but looked big in the other ring!!
