Solution saddles for jumping.

i did, i loved it, it was the best thing i've ever sat in, but it didn't suit the mare at all. the fitter was wonderful, did everything she could, but it didn't resolve the problem, so she gave me a full refund. i've now got to find something that feels like a wow on top but is perfect for the mare.

I competed in one for just over a year, when they were still the Ansur. I quite liked it, they look a bit funny and mine always looked rather big on Deco, my 15.2, even though it was the child size, it looked like it was always verging on sitting too far back. I was given all sorts of dire warnings about slippage (by the fitters), and told to ALWAYS make sure I had a breastplate on and my girth really tight, preferabley with no elastic in. I tried it as she sometimes struggled to reach the back bar of sj's at advanced, and I jumped a fair old spread in it when we tried it, seemingley with her going better. The changes were better in it too from the off. However, the improvements didn't last. When a very repsected physio looked at her she commented on the onset of arthritis in her back (was mainly due to age and conformation), but I mentionned the saddle and brought it out, and she thought it was definately exacerbating the problem. I was already having my doubts about it by then so sold it (easily I might add) on ebay. Where it put the rider wasn't too bad, though I felt I floated in it a little more than a standard saddle. Anything else you want to know PM me.
