ok Beau is a very honest horse, really tries for you, but I feel like our communication and his concentration could be better and I think it is possibly the bit which could be hampering this.
When I got Beau he was ridden in a single joint mild snaffle, and a flash noseband.
I noticed when we tried him and he does it now, that now and again he will toss his head a bit, chomp at the bit so to speak.
I think its just babyishness, after all he is only 6 but I need to treat him like a 5 yr old after him having a year off.
So do I take the flash off? I havent fiddled about so far because he is happy enough and when he starts his head tossing etc, if you ask him to do something and work he soon stops, so maybe its just boredom or childish stroppiness I dont know.
He doesnt do it in a malcious was, as in to unseat you or anything, but it is annoying, especially when schooling.
Anyway here is a very short clip of when we first got him, OH was just having a toddle around the school, you cansee he starts to do it, then when he is asked to trot he goes nicely again.

Any advice or possible bit recommendations would be great!
He isnt strong at all and is very responsive to your aids.
Thank you!
