It was icy here this morning (yeah, great idea trying to pick leaves out of the waterbowls, ouch!) but now raining again and blowing a gale, lots of trees down since the weekend, I am still trying to dry off after our lunchtime walk

Yuk sounds horrid!! Still just above freezing here so can't ride as too lumpy, nothing's thawing.
Hope we don't get the rain you're getting.

I'm so fed up! I want to go and lay a track for the dog (your weather would be perfect!!!) and do a bit of obedience with his sister, just sat here twiddling my thumbs and trying to put off housework....
