Big Brown Ears wasn't so perky tonight - she's still settling into her new routine and yard and is missing her best friend, but when I went to give her evening hay she didn't want a scrap, (she normally gobbles straight away as I battle with the door) I knew something wasn't right.

She's had a mild colic (I think) - 3 hours of wrapping myself in her thermatex and trying not to fall asleep in the straw - she's much better, so I've left her to it for the night - some HHO vibes for BBE would help me sleep tonight, please.

And please can Big Brown Eyes have some warming love too - as I feel guilty he's out in this rain - having listened to it fall on the roof the last few hours, i feel a really mean mummy.

Thanks everyone for the vibes. I went up at 7- 8.30 BBears is still not right...passing poo but not really into her hay and has not drunk much more in the 6 hours, certainly less than usual. She's got a soaked hay net now and is pleased with that. Going to head back in a few mins to see how she is. Hopefully she'll have passed some wee too.

If there is no improvement, I shall get the vet. Typically I have the day off today to go away for the weekend!! Not anymore!!!

BBeyes was pleased to have his breakfast but not really as cold, wet and miserable as I'd have thought considering the night we've had.
