Got my 2 big fellas in last night for the farrier to come first thing this morning and notice benji wasn't looking to great - peeing when he moved and looked a bit unlevel, thought I would leave him and see how he was this morning incase it was just him being funny at coming in (he is a sensitive boy)
Went back up first thing this morning and he's shaking, still peeing and unsteady on his feet :( farrier said theres something really not right with him and his back end - not surprising as he has always had issues with his back legs.
Vet is on their way out, fingers crossed its nothing too serious.

Vet came this morning and he has retention in his bladder so he can't pee at all, was sedated and a tube put up into his bladder to drain it. Bute and antibiotic injections all week to see if that helps, vet back out next week but he seems to think that it won't and he may have lost the use of the muscles in his bladder :( any one have any experience of this?
