My baby (well, she is 7 now!) who is out on loan has been lame for the last 8 weeks, she has been worked up and initially found that the deep digitial flexor tendon was slightly enlarged where it went into the hoof. She was reassessed 2 weeks ago and appeared sound on the initially injured leg but slightly lame on the other front leg. She went back to be assessed again today, and was more lame on the second leg. She was nerve blocked and it turns out that she is lame in both front feet. She is now being referred for MRI.

I am very worried, as she is my baby, so any good thoughts would be appreciated!
