My wonderful pony Rocky has found his way back into my life.
Our journey started when I was 13, my non horsey parents bought me a newly broken 4 year old from Ireland… say no more!
He taught me a lot, we grew up and moved countries together, supporting me through finding new friends. Until my parents forced his sale when I was 17, I was heartbroken.
I managed to stay in touch with his owner and bought him back when I was 20, he had been out of work for a while and I had my work cut out to get him back on track.
When I was 25 I had encountered huge life changes out of my control which really took a toll on my mental health, he was there for me at the end of every bad day but my situation was so unclear the best decision was to part with him once again, this time luckily to a friend.
3 years later, this week, he has come home to me for the final time.
I am so fortunate now that my personal situation is fantastic and I have never been happier and more grateful.
At nearly 18 years old now, he will be with me forever, which is what I always wanted. He has made my dreams come true over the years and been the most wonderful boy, I owe him everything.
Many of you would have seen photos of him on here over the years, here’s some more for good measure, and because he is flipping handsome.
Trying to read this through blurry eyes, horses are wonderful.

Here he is now, looking fab!
