Very nice x
I've had mine a year, he came to me a week after his last race and dropped muscle and caught up with himself this winter finally. It's a phase that they go through. Muscle seems to disappear before some fat forms! Not that we want them fat but you know what I mean. Mine seems to be a reasonable doer for a TB now he's caught up with himself, but with some it's not so easy.
It's a slow process and sadly people will comment on your skinny horse! I felt like pants with the whippet horse but they sort themselves out in the end. Often they have a slim season. Winter for not good doers and summer for stress heads who hate insects. In our case it was the change from all oats very little hay diet to the complete opposite. Yes it should be done gradually but no choice in our case due to a tendon injury. Which was the reason why he came to us in the first place so we just stuck with it and now have a lovely round and shiny tb!
