some news on the Horse sanctuary threatened with closure

Whatever they say, they should be making attempts to rehome most of those horses, we know they have had offers and turned them down. We all know that rescues and old horses can be moved to new homes and do well. Mind you, someone on one of the other threads said that welfare agencies were already making plans to deal with the situation if the place closes, is that true?
Not impressed to see that they have taken in another horse, in spite of the fact that they know the future is uncertain.
Very sad, ver sad for the horses.

I can only think that they must have some sort of back up plan in place as they don't seem to be taking much action to safeguard any of the horses future, unless a vet is on standby to mass slaughter if it comes to it
