On sunday we had a small open day/house warming which despite the weather was a great sucess.
Due to it being late in the year and at short notice we only invited about 35 people .
As it was such a success we have decided that we will do it all again next year on a much grander scale so there will be an invitiation on here for people to come.
Anyway we did all the usual pony patting stuff but my youngsters repaid me big time by putting up this performance for everyone to see.
It makes me laugh as much now as it did while we stood there.
so here are my babies aka mud hippos having a nice time.

That really brought a smile to my face, especially at the last, little one with white face bucking with glee

Be sure to invite us all next time Sally!!!

We will dont worry it was all a bit of a rush this time 3 weeks in a new home and it was a bit manic so stuck with family and exisiting clients.
Next year will be much earlier when the sun is shining and much bigger.

that was wonderful, thank you. It certainly made me feel less guilty about my mares being out..horses love mud!

My problem is the mares and stallions love it just as much.
We seem to have a whole herd of horses that just love mud and water.

That's a great video. Really cheered me up this evening - especially when they virtually rolled on top of one another and jumped up for a prance round.

They all look very well too Sally.

although the way they leave the floor suggests that jumping and mud and water on the x country wont be a problem

Are these by your stallion, sally? I love the way they ping about- especially that one at the end who was slipping all over the place and still wouldn't stop bucking.

yes all bar the smallest who is a yearling by High Tension are by my small boy may I.
They sure do ping that is for sure although they are bred on both sides to jump.
May I's mum had awesome ability and they go back to Inschallah II on the dams side so should do the job.

They were soo funny!! Never seen anything like it- it would be exactly like a gang of girls at a fairground, desperate to get onto the bouncy castle! and pushing and shoving for their turn

Thankyou i am very fond of them too and yes they do blow and snort quite loudly.
You just cant believe they find mud so exciting

Aw that was a fab video

I don't have sound unfortunately but even so the shots of them rolling and generally 'arsing' around was a real joy to watch.
