I feel sorry for the old boy- why should he trust banks!! I have left things on my car roof before and im sure im not alone, if folk are honest! This could finish him i think, poor thing.

I don't blame him for not wanting to put his money in a bank, over here dozens (hundreds?!) of pensioners lost 'everything' when one of the bank's went askew.

He must be gutted loosing all that money at his age
