On our yard we have a neglected pony (I have previously posted on here about) which the owner finally has advertised for sale. A lovely family came to see him and sale agreed subject to vetting, so we all had our fingers crossed he would finally have some one to love him. Any way long story short the vet came today and opened the stable door and said 'Do you want me to continue as I can tell you now he will fail'. In a 5 min examination the vet found signs of Laminitis, periods of starvation, dropped heals from poor/no farriery, healed wounds from an embedded head collar and thrush. I just want to treat her the same as she has treated her pony. I believe there is some where in Austria suitable!
