For the longest time I thought it was going to be the motorcyclists who you were all talking about...yikes!! Poor horses :( I wonder how long it'll be before one of them breaks down.
 
In certain areas of Italy, mainly the south, there is illegal road racing going on. Sadly many ex racers end up doing this, or the famous but legal "palio", which is just as bad. Horrific in both cases, and a death trap.
 
These 'humans' ... and i use the word loosley ... are scum of the earth :mad:. Sadly these horses are in a terrible situation but doesnt it just (sadly at times) show what amazing animals we are all passionate about :o

I was watching the beginning thinking they look like racers, wonder what theyre doing on a road, surely theyre not going to......OH S**T :eek:

In shoes as well just to add to the danger on wet roads and corners !
