My dad recently built another indoor school for our yard so we now have 2 indoors and 2 outdoors. I spent last night setting up and building a lovely course for my lesson this morning with my trainer who has brought me up a horse to try. Booked the school as i normally have it 4-6 so changed it early last week to 11-1 today so i could try this horse over my course. Got down with my trainer and my beautiful course was a stack of poles and wings in the middle and one of the liveries lunging their horse and my polite notice to leave the course up in her hand! Hmph. It really annoyed me as she was then really rude and nasty to me. It wasn't as though we were busy as no one else was on the yard except myself and her.
Sorry To Rant just really got me in a mood.
Any way the horse i was trying is lovely and my trainer has lent him to me to hack out and try. Only slight quibble i have is that he has a slight pressure sore on his withers that looks to have been caused by a rug (further forward than saddle) how would i prevent these from happening again and what should i treat it with. Being quite fine i think he still needs a rug on but i dont want to aggrevate it any further.
Cheers Guys xx
