By the way, I'm not a stalker, I recognise the ponies from the website and am just down the road

I don't agree with all these comments about how awful the owners are.

At least they placed her in your rescue, yes maybe they didn't go about it the right way but would you rather she stayed where she was without food in mud, heavily in foal?
No, the owner shouldnt have allowed the mare to get in foal in the first place. If they cant look after one they cant look after 2.
Or maybe the owners should of abandoned her instead or let her starve to death?
 How about seeking help earlier?
Or maybe they could of had her PTS regardless of the foal or tried to sell her to the nearest dealer? Which option is worse?
Or maybe they should never have had the poor pony in the first place and got a goldfish instead

The owners COULD of done a lot of other things but they didn't, UNDERSTATEMENT they dropped her off at the best place and that might just indicate that they are not cruel heartless owners. I am glad their conscience got to them. Far too late but better late than never

If she'd been without hard feed for a couple of months through winter may indicate that the owners could of been quite desparate to rehome her. You don't know the full circumstances behind it, none of us do so I think it's unfair to slag them off like this publicly. There is NO excuse for allowing an animal to get in that state

. Aye fair enough but sticking to what I said, best to keep an open mind unless all circumstances are known.

Poor little mite.....that's more than a couple of months without food-native types don't drop off that quick, more than likely been a breeding machine, and owners wanted to get rid before the authorities came in..

I hope she picks up and has a healthy foal.

Good to see some of them finding somewhere safe with you.

p.s. Please, it's a really bad idea to turn a horse loose for any length of time in a rope halter, not recommended at all because they have no break points. Believe me, I sell them.
