Why are some people on here so critical??

I read a thread yesterday about people giving out about pony riders. And when shows like HOYS etc are on theres usually people giving out about international riders aswell!

What is the point? Why are people on here being so criticle .. how many of you could jump a 148 Grand Prix (1.40) as adults now? Never mind as Under 16???

Hmm nothing wrong with healthy debate and I think some of the issues raised in that POY thread were actually very valid...
However, I agree with you that people can be very quick to criticise... so there's a fine line..

I see where you are coming from but ...

Personally I think children do very well, look at a 128 Grand Prix .. it can range from 1.10 - 1.25 ... the majority of people here can't even jump that now, as adults in the competitive way they do ... they are UNDER 12 .. on little small ponies ..

Ponies need to be sharp, quick thinking and ready to get the riders out of trouble. Small children who aren't extremely strong ... they need help from spurs/stronger bits.

Are all the people's horses on here perfectly schooled in snaffles and running martingales .. ??
