Some people!!!!

Just had someone to look at my horse who is for loan. I explained to them that he was an ex competition horse who is lovely natured but isn't really a happy hack on the phone.

They turned up and i got my tacke etc to which they said oh we don't want to see him ridden. I assumed they would just look first then decide if he was worth seeing ridden. I was wrong they saw him tied up and said he is just what we want a good looking horse who can look pretty in the field!!!!

. Then they said is he good in traffic because we do like to hack out about 3 times A YEAR!!!!!

I explained that i didnt think they would be suitable as he does need riding at least a few times a week, then they said they would like to buy him! I said he is not for sale!

Some people are so strange!!

what weird people, why get a horse use them as a field ordimant (sp) and then ride them 3 times a year? very strange

Strange although I do know a few people who it's rare to spot at the yard more than once a fortnight, and some less than that. Why spend loads of money on a horse you never even see?

Perhaps getting a horse is what you do when you've got the 2.4 children, the dog and the 4x4!
