make you so mad and angry.

Why do some people assume they know everything about you when they actually know absolutely nothing?

I got talking to someone about selling their yard, and I said to them that they turned our offer down last time we asked them. He asked me how much we had offered him so I told him and he laughed

and said we couldnt afford to pay that!

How the hell does he know what we can or cannot afford? Also if we werent serious about buying a yard why would we make him an offer?

Its really annoyed me as we have the money ready and waiting to buy either a yard or some land but no one wants to sell.

Just ignore them. Everyone assumes I'm rich because i have a horse, but i make alot of sacrifices, they're just not aware of it.
Hope you find a suitable yard hun
xx

but what is the need for them being rude. Whether or not I can afford it its non of his business - unless he does decide to sell to me.
Me and my mum make lots of sacrifices but im lucky that my mum owns her own business but she has been working really hard so she can earn the money to buy a field/yard!

maybe that is what it is, but I dont flaunt what ive got so I dont see why they should be envious but you never see what other people are envious of.

If you dress like me when 'doing' the horses, including poo picking, you're lucky you haven't been mistaken for a tramp....filthy cast offs and random hatwear being the order of the day!
I'd happily take all your money if that would help?!

Has he actually got his yard up for sale or were you just enquiring. If his yard is up for sale it's a bit cheeky of him knocking you back because he 'thinks' you can't afford it. I know what you mean about not finding anything for sale - all the houses we've seen with land are well expensive and with very little land (like extended gardens).

what does he care if you can afford it or not.... whats he doing vetting new owners?
he sounds like a plank, he sound like a right idiot.

what was your reply?

not exactly up for sale but keeps saying it will be sold if the offer is right. He told us exactly what he wanted so that is what we offered him, and he turned it down? cant understand it all.
We are happy to buy land without a house, as well put our house up for sale then move closer to the field/yard/horses. I know what you mean about house prices though - its silly money they are asking for them.

I dont know what hes playing at? how mens mind work?
I just turned round and said - "how do you know what we can afford or not? are you our bank manager? dont think so. If you dont want our money well go somewhere where it is acceptable"
