hello ... another question if you spot this ... did you have a half tree in your saddle pad, or just attach the stirrups straight to the rings on the pad?
thank you!
thank you!
Thanks all.
I've always just used the D's. I'm not sure my ultimate opinion on half trees so I've stayed away from them. I don't get on from the ground or use stirrups to get on anyway so doesn't affect me from a mounting perspective.![]()

Hiya... sorry for yet another question about the bareback pad! I'm thinking of getting one for my cob. Is yours in size 'pony'? Thank you!
I've got one for sale if your interested. I had it as a stop gap when mine got horrendously overweight when he was on full livery. His saddle fits now so its surplus to requirements. I'm pretty sure they are just one size. I dont remember ordering a specific size anyway
Wondered why this bumped up!
They come in pony and full.
I had both of them at various points. Pony size for anyone size ten or less basically! Unless it's smaller than 13hh the length doesn't make a difference as not treed. I felt better in the full size one personally. Had it for two years and loved it, though as he's always kept fit and doing more now, I swapped to a normal treed saddle as wasn't comfortable doing 90cm+ classes on him regularly and couldn't stay up out the saddle for fast work with stirrups.
