Thank you for looking.

I was wondering what he looks like - he is gorgeous. I love how the white on his hind quarters makes a stripe along his back and I love how he got to be known as The Secret Rocking Horse.

Really hope things come good for him and your daughter - and you too of course.

Here, have some more choccy with martshmallows and sprinkles...

Some happy pics and what a cracking little jumper.

Sorry to hear about the lameness issue - hope you find a nice field and are able to keep him comfy.

Thank you folks.

I'm thinking of getting one of them put onto canvas for D1, just don't know which yet :)

He is gorgeous : )

If you do want to get one put onto canvass, send me a PM... My OH's cousin has just started a new business printing etc and I can prob get you a cheapy!

* Please don't tell me off for advertising Fat Controller...Just trying to do a favour *

Thank you :)

He is indeed a sweetie. Can't wait to get him home! :D

Just waiting for the car man to let us know if the Disco is fit to go (was having brakes done, not that they were 'needed', but we were being pro-active; should have been done by yesterday, but there was a delay).

What a smashing partnership. Why not get one of those picture montages put onto canvas to show their journey together?

orrrr they make a great team, lovey to see how they have both improved ....and how much your daughter has shot up! :D

Lovely photos, looks like they had a lot of good times. :)

Beautiful. Gorgeous chap, and so very sorry to read of his problems.
I had everything crossed for a better diagnosis. It's not the end of the world however, though it may seem so now, and fingers crossed he's with you for ages yet.

I think I remarked once before how sympathetic a rider your daughter is and what lovely hands she has:)

AD - a montage is a lovley idea... Am picturing it now :). Will have to see what size/shape canvasses we can get :)

They were doing so well. For various reasons she hadn't competed him much: whilst he can jump and seemed to enjoy it, and follows D1 around the field and they play together, at a show he could be a nappy wee so and so, which disheartened her greatly. This though was to be The Year. We have a trailer, our trainer loves his movement and markings and jump and was very keen to see him do Working Hunter, we bought D1 all the gear, so all was ready to go, only it didn't :(

D1 is very fortunate that she has other horses to ride, inlcuding Big Cob and the Dizzy one, and Friend's daughter had already offered D1 the ride on her pony for their first hunt in October, so all in all, very lucky indeed, but as anyone with a horse will attest to, one's own horse is different. There's a bond. The dreams, hopes, ambitions, desires, and just general being and doing things together, even a simple hack with a blast up the track, or a mooch along the road. Hm. D1 doesn't want to ride LC again as he'll have to be on Bute; the daily Bute issue is worrying and upsetting her, so I'm researching alternatives. Someone on here has kindly suggested an alternative, the name of which has just escaped me! Will go find it and talk to our vet.

Sorry for going on folks. I know so many are going through tough times with and without their horses. Hugs to you, you're in our thoughts.

C.x
