I've been scrolling through the Aivly country store sale and they have a few brilliant rug deals on.

Apparently, Bridleway are manufactured by Shires, their budget end - having vented furiously about Shires Highlander diminishing dimensions, this line was suggested by two different retailers….
Absolutely no idea whether they really fit similarly to the old Highlanders or not, but possibly cheap enough to try one?

Might throw my ancient ripped ones out now lol

Aivlys is sadly up for sale, and that will be the last large equestrian store in the New Forest. A real problem for things that need fitting like hats and body protectors. Hope everyone got the rugs they wanted!!

Just ordered 3 for a total of £60. I've never tried bridleway rugs but even expensive rugs can get trashed here so worth giving them a go.

Where have you heard/seen this news? I can only see that it was up for sale in 2022.

@dorsetladette There are large For Sale signs up, and the stock levels have plummeted (hence IMO the cheap rugs).

My friend went today. She asked the staff when they are closing and they had no glue (or are told to say that). But she never mentioned the for sale signs.

I ordered the Bridleway no fill (rude not to at £17+) and it arrived yesterday. It was useful to know (thanks to @Exasperated ) that they were a Shires economy version as that's what my horse wears normally - it's fits really well and is my bargain of the year so far x

My economy £17 one is a perfect fit too ... Not tried the others which were a no fill combo and 100g combo yet but bet they will be perfect fit too...

Mine have arrived, 2 x 6'6" combos and 1 x 6'9" absolute bargain for £15 with no neck. Not tried on but I've got 2 shires rugs already so confident they'll fit something!
