Croydon police

Following a recent police operation in Orpington, a series of dogs have been found.
One has been reunited with their owner. The others are being well looked after.
If you believe your dog has been stolen, please call 101 and quote Op Medusa

Thank you for posting this Mrs M. Wonder why only one dog has been reunited via its chip. Were the others simply not chipped, the chip has failed/migrated or has it, as some suggest, been removed. I am considering an ear tattoo for my chap.

It is good to see the police in this instance have acted and I for one always check to see if my boy and another person's dog are in the mug shots, even though I expect they have passed away.

Smith. Re ear tattoos..I’d suggest inner thigh tattoo if you go that route.
The ears get cut off with the tattoo.
In 2000 we imported a ukdog who had an ear tattoo...it faded over the years and I was glad when microchips came into play.
