He is doing really well, he has taken to clicker training like a duck to water. You guarantee though we will sort one problem out and he will throw something new my way ;)

At the moment it is chasing cars while we are out. Or barking at people that walk past him without stopping to talk to him, which is also a good excuse for having a hissy fit.

He is a great dish washer, as we found out he can reach into the sink, he is so long at the minute he can even steal the sponge of the bottom of it.

Toffee He looked so intelligent in January with two sticky up ears, now one flops side ways he just looks like some form of manic lunatic!

What kind of collar and lead combo are you using at the mo? I'm not suggesting stick a pronger on him and wire him up to the mains, but car chasing is something you do want to nip in the bud and you need to distract him BEFORE he locks on to it, not after, it's too late then, without getting nervous or anxious, if a car comes and he **starts** to even think about looking at it, call him, reinforce with a pop on the neck if you need to and while he is distracted from it, reward him.

Just be careful with sink stuff, my friend's dog swallowed a scouring-puff, it expanded, he then contracted peritonitis and he is not in good shape :(

But enough of the doom and gloom, glad he is coming on in leaps and bounds :)

Luckily being a mummys boy he tends to bring me the things he steals (ok and maybe he is a bit stupid). All sponges/cloths go on the window ledge now where he can't reach them........yet.

At the minute he is in a half choke chain collar and i also use a mikkee walkee (almost like a halti but doesn't tighten up just turns the head when needed) as the only moot part showing through is the i can pull gene! (the trainer suggested a harness, silly moo)

Personally im thinking sellotaping his feet together may be a good option .

:p

If you need a wee bit more control, for walks, if it is a webbing half choke, shorten the webbing so that it sits higher up on the neck closer to the ears, without slipping down, the general rule with collars is, the lower down the neck they are and closer to the shoulder, the more power the dog will have, and vice versa. Not saying pull the head off him but for situations like the car nomming, it can help :p

It is a webbing one, but rather large i will see if i can dig a smaller one out. Thanks for the idea i really want to iron the problem out now before he gets any bigger he is going to be blooming huge.
