Somebody to take me under their wing.

I have worked with horses and owned them since I can remember, however, I have had a couple of years without horses in my life and I looking at doing some B.H.S courses and sitting some exams.

I am looking for someone who has a yard in the Catterick Garrison area to take me under their wing so to speak and allow me to help out on the yard and get through my course work.

I don't mean full time but maybe one day on the weekend or something similar, just to get the practical in.

Please let me know if you can help or if you know anyone that could help me.

Thank you, I've tried local advertising but no-one seems interested in some free labour from someone utterly adores horses and who is a grafter. hey ho! I'll just keep my fingers crossed

As Rhino says, repost with the location in the title, also think about how it's worded, maybe making it more about what the person will get out of you (hope that makes sense, it's far too early lol).

Advertise in the local saddlers, feed merchants, RC, maybe PC. Go to your local RS, racing yard, showjumper's place, etc. and ask in person. Also decide what sort of thing you want. For example I have four neds and I'd be interested in the right sort of help. It wouldn't be BHS, but it would be some recent experience to take elsewhere.
