I know I need to be patient, but have advertised my trailer (Bateson Ascot) as I have found a wagon I want to buy..but apparently no one wants a Bateson at the moment even though they tow so well!
They are nice lightweight trailers too so don't need a gas guzzling 4 x 4 to tow which is great in this day and age.I know I need to be patient, but have advertised my trailer (Bateson Ascot) as I have found a wagon I want to buy..but apparently no one wants a Bateson at the moment even though they tow so well!
f the 'wagon' is from a dealer would they take it in as part ex?
Check if your price is roughly what others are selling for, given age/condition etc.
Where abouts are you in the country? I know someone who sort of “deals” in trailers. Could pass over details if you’re not too far away
I’m in Lancs. Open to delivery if they would like?Wonder if your location is contributing? A lady at my yard advertised her 2015 bateson and it was sold within the week. Another friend had been looking for a second hand trailer for months and any decent ones she came across were selling before she could even go and view them. Both cases within the last month or so. So the demand is definitely still there
I have seen a lot of trailers and saddles up for sale recently, I do wonder if people are selling up some assets to get cash in the current climate.
Market therefore could be a bit flooded with less demand?
