Absoultely gutted...just got in from work and someone has nicked my plant pot from my front window ledge!!
It had lots of winter plants in it that were quite small and I was hoping to transfer them into the garden....came home and the pot has been nicked....all the soil from the underneath is covering my window ledge and looks a right mess...im just moving my other pot around to the back garden....worries me more that they came right up to my window and pinched it....!
Really upset about it ;0(
 
someone once and only once stole my mum and dads plants from outside their house. to get to them you had to climb up about 12 steps.
my dad replaced them BUT filled them with stones first then added the peat and plants. nobody tried again!
if its not glued down.....
 
Its the thought of someone sneaking round your home......yuck !
Someone smashed the wing mirror on my car today, not happy, and not looking forward to telling OH.
So I can sympathise.
 
thanks everyone - I think I might just add spikes to my next pot...either that or itching powder !!
So upset about it.....
Hubby has promised to buy me a heavier and better one tomorrow....
 
HB get a pot about twice the depth you need fill the bottom of the pot with small stones like you would put in a fish tank. put plant on top-make sure you do it in its final resting place as its sooo heavy
 
Put one out that you dont mind being stolen, and fill the bottom third with cat or dog poo

and then put a plant on top......
