Someone take me through it step by step!

I have a day off today, and I am feeling creative. I have some new pics of Benson, and want to make myself a signature. I have created a photobucket account, but now I dont know what to do!
Can someone please take me through the process, step by step to get the pics, put colour behind them, etc etc, or tell me where I can find out how to do it.
