He is! He pretends that he's a toughie, but he can't resist a pony cuddle!

I had to look again to see that - all I was looking at was a cute expanse of clipped belly and an outraged pony face.

He was absolutely furious - mostly because we all fell about laughing! He reared once, and got away with it, then the second time, Steve held his front feet so he couldn't return to earth, and held him up a lot longer than he was happy with! He hasn't reared since!
