I am just wondering if the farm ride would be classed as Cross Country insurance wise?

Baron is insured for Hacking, Rearing, Breaking, Gymkhanas, Showing, Dressage upto elementary, Driving, Riding Club Events, Novice Hunter trials and Showjumping upto foxhunter.

Do you think that this would cover the likes of the farm ride? And also would it cover other pleasure rides which include jumps? It covers hacking and on my hacks I jump lots of solid jumps anyway so imo its no different but just wondered what you guys think. Should I ring up and check?

My insurance stipulates "pleasure rides" which of course is what Somerford's Farm Ride comes under.

If you have any doubts, give your insurers a call. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Sure you'd be fine, if you've got novice hunter trials on there that is higher risk than a pleasure ride I would think! But if you are worried, ring up and check.

Thanks for the help, I think I best give them a call just to check. I plan to go on quite a few pleasere rides over the summer and id hate for something to happen and find hes not covered.

Im really looking forward to meeting everyone at the farm ride though
