Old parkland- pretty flat, old turf. Lovely big site, xc is very flowing and you feel like you actually go somewhere, not just round and round the same field!!

Sj is always up to height and a bit spooky

Thanks. Heard Novice good first timer, what about Int/** courses for the older chaps?
Is the SJ and dressage arenas quite flat as well then?

All xc good first timers but not small, they just ride really well. The intermediate is my fave one I've done.

Sj is built big though so not great for a dodgy int sjer. Arenas pretty flat. Ground can get a bit deep there if we have lots of rain.

The XC is lovely!! Did the int last year on my boy and i thought it rode very nicely the ** also looked very jumpable!! But like boss said the SJ is up to height but jumped well and the dressage is set away from everything else!!

really nice, great flat dressage arenas and nice XC. like boss says the sJing can get deep, and it is normally up to height, unless the ground conditions are really bad (one year i remember they lowered the ** cos of that).
nice event tho.
