Not only do I have a wasps nest, I also the baby pigeon that's decided to live in there, not really sure how old it is, it's not really young but doesn't fly off neither.
I noticed it the other day, there is a large gap in the tack room where things can get in and out (yard dog/chickens etc) hence why its only a feed room really, anyway I noticed this little guy a few days ago, I chose to ignore and not touch it because I thought it would either make it's way back or its mum would come to the rescue...or one of the yard dogs would finish it off thinking I wouldnt see it the next day, besides it didn't really look too great.
Anyway I did see it again, twice in two days running, so Ive been leaving it some water (in an old feed supplement lid) and some horse food mix (well I don't know what they eat) anyway it seems to doing ok and it's obviously moving around because it was on top of the bins/buckets and poo'd everywhere.
So now what, I don't want it to get killed but if it stays in there, the dog will eventually hunt it down, I don't want to handle it because I will scare it half to death, if I buy some bird feed it will never fly away, if I tell the YO hell probably twist its head off.
HELP! any suggestions please?
