Something positive!

My son and I went on a lovely hack this morning - it was mild, not raining and the ground seems to be finally drying up around here......and then we saw our first spring lamb!! Little black fellow out in a field with his mum, probably just a few days old.

Then I was in the garden with the dogs and found bud's on the apple trees, and a plant starting to flower (don't ask me what it was though as am no gardener!!!!)

And to top it all it was still just light last night at 4.45pm!

I know it is a few mnths off spring yet, but lightened my winter blues, and hope it does for you guys too x

I can't wait for spring, unfortunately in wet West Wales there are no signs of spring yet but I live in hope.

You are a bit infront of us But it is nice to hear that there are signs of spring somewhere in the country

out plants are spouting in the garden ( if that's the word!)
nothing heard we are meant to get a cold period and even snow.
It might kill them all off!

And just to make you all jealous, we have just had 10 mins of proper sunshine, even with a hint of warmth!

Has now given way to cloud again, but how the world looked different for those few minutes......

Don't mention hosepipe ban. That's what started all the rain in the first place.
