Something that's made you happy in the last 24 hours

its my birthday today and even though virtually all of my 'friends' forgot or simply couldnt be bothered to get me anything, two friends did remember. Both have bought me a riding lesson, plus they are coming over later to watch a DVD, eat chinese and drink some wine.
 
Mine is i bought some new boots earlier that i've had my eye on since before Christmas!

Was waiting for them to go in the sale but they didn't so i gave up and bought them anyway! They are human boots for me btw!

I'm working from home at the moment because I'm poorly but my day got better when I spotted our Blackcap has returned to our birdtable. Wouldn't have seen it if I was at work. Oh and seeing our local wren always brightens my day - sooo cute!

Had our ... 3rd? jumping lesson since I got him (not the 3rd time I've jumped him, but 1st since his back was sorted!) and he was really good

Taking my dog to the yard to have a lovely run round the fields, stuffing the horses with polo's and lots of kisses with them!!!

Email confirming order for new bed, swimming with hubby and son, chips for dinner !!!!!!
 
Hacking through the forest today on my boy. No one shooting or riding bikes/quads through it. It seemed like just me and him. All was quiet (apart from birds singing which was lovely) The sun was shining through the trees and there was frost on the grass which was glistening in the sunshine. Although we regularly hack through the woods there was something really special and different about our hack today

aww, happy birthday!


I cantered my horse today for the first time in about 3 months - on purpose! And he came back to trot when I asked!!
