I'd know which one I'd love to go on - the Cumbrian heavy horse centre - looks amazing and I'd definately want to do the beach ride my riding instructor has done and said it was fantastic xx
Cumbrian Heavy Horses for me too, went this summer and loved it. Seen they are doing a mock hunt New Years Day and really want to go but not sure of the long drive if the weather is bad
How good a rider do you need to be for Cumbrian Heavy Horses. It says on the site that you may need to get off and lead over steep areas...how do you get back on again!!!
If I ever have the money I'd go to Murthwaite Green. They're based in the same little town as Cumbrian Heavy Horses and ride on the same beach but they're not as expensive. I'd go there for the holiday and then go for a ride on a heavy horse as a one off
For the heavy horses they take all levels, our group had a total novice in which was fine as his horse stood perfectly still every time we went off for a gallop. We didnt have to get off but did have 2 guides (1 on foot) so when they swapped they gave a leg up
