Hey all need some advice on my horses feet
His not quite right on his backs his not lame but his not tracking up, is reluctant to trot and go forward he has shoes on the front and bare behind, does about 7 hours work a week, 4 days and lives out his 15 this year welsh section d
I really have no clue what it could be there is no heat anywhere and does not react to pressing on his sole.
Like I said his not lame but can really feel something is not right when being ridden. he doesn't like walking on the Tarmac and always tries to walk on grass verges, I thought It could of been from when the farrier was last out about 6 weeks ago because he was a bit sore after that but it went away and has come back again.
we have brought him in and put him on a nice soft bed for tonight and will be ringing the farrier first thing in the morning but just wanted some advice really.
Thanks a lot in advance!
